"CASA BLANCA" (WHITE HOUSE), RESIDENCE OF JUAN PONCE DE LEON, FIRST GOVERNOR OF PUERTO RICO
This splendid building was the residence of the Ponce de Leon family. The structure was originally built in 1523 and used as a fortress and arsenal until 1531, when it was first occupied as a residence. Juan Ponce de Leon was the first Governor of Puerto Rico.
